Each individual sound bowl is carefully hammered by hand, requiring several steps to finish and shape it into a perfect hand hammered sound bowl. In the manufacturing process, first different metal alloys (copper, tin, zinc, iron, lead, gold and silver) are melted in a furnace, depending on the manufacturing needs, such as making bronze sound bowls or seven metal sound bowls. The molten hot metal is then poured into cubes to create a metal mold for sound bowls of different sizes and weights. Then the round Metal molds are cut into round metal sheets in the required size and thickness. After that, these plates are hammered by hand, accurately measured and classified according to weight and size. Regarding the process of hand hammering, 4-5 metal sheets are stacked on top of each other and then heated until glowing. Heated metal sheets are forged by experienced artisans as long as there is heat in the metal, and then processed again in a glowing, continuous forging process. This heating and forging with bundled and stacked sheet metal is continued until the desired shape and size is obtained. (This is why hammered or hand-forged sound bowls are proportionally different in size and diameter for each individual sound bowl.) During the forging process of these sound bowls, the sheet metal can only be hammered when it is glowing and is soft and malleable. Because when the metal cools, it loses its softness and malleability, which makes the metal brittle and can damage the bowl. The background of the intensive work process is that the metal composition (bronze or an alloy of seven metals) is very sensitive to heat and hardens when it loses its heat and gets cracks and fractures.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n \u003cp\u003eAfter the design is completed, the individual work begins. At this stage, each cup is brought to a uniform shape and size, and this is only possible during red-hot heating and forging. After finalizing the shape and size, further forging is performed for finishing and fine-tuning for the final fine-tuning and shaping of the sound bowls.
